This is a 3 month contract. Fully onsite in San Jose.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, equipment tools, and products using appropriate tools, gauges, and documentation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to establish inspection criteria.
• Use measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs.
• Record and report inspection results accurately in quality databases or ERP systems.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCMRs) for deviations and coordinate with the QA team for disposition.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Supplier Quality to resolve material quality issues.
• Maintain inspection documentation and ensure traceability of materials.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Understand and adhere to the company’s Quality and EHS policies.

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• CMM operator/have to experience with drawings
• Basic knowledge of ISO 13485:2016.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings.
• Experience using measurement instruments, including CMM, OMM, surface plate setups, calipers, micrometers, profilometer, vision equipment, and other tools.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
