As a Preconstruction Engineer , you’ll play a crucial role in the early stages of our commercial construction projects—analyzing plans, estimating costs, developing schedules, and collaborating closely with project managers and design teams. Your expertise will help ensure accurate, efficient, and successful project launches.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project estimates and budgets (materials, labor, equipment).
• Collaborate with internal teams to review project scope and technical needs.
• Analyze construction drawings and specs for accuracy and completeness.
• Draft preliminary project schedules and assist with value engineering efforts.
• Research and source cost-effective materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Support technical aspects of the bidding and negotiation process.
• Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders.

📌 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in preconstruction or engineering (HVAC/Plumbing a plus).
• Strong knowledge of construction systems, materials, and processes.
• Proficiency with construction and preconstruction software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
