Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Description We are actively seeking a Software Developer with AWS development experience to join our growing in-house software development team. Ideal candidates must have experience with AWS including Docker, Lamda, and AWS Connect, DevOps as well as full software development lifecycle experience, great organization skills and a strong desire to explore & implement new technologies. Essential Duties of the Position Quickly learn the business processes, development standards and codebase Participate in planning and implementing AWS technologies including Docker, Lambda & AWS Connect. Support existing applications as well as help design and develop new software solutions. Work closely with management, staff & clients/customers to identify end-user requirements for both software enhancements and new applications/modules. Write detailed design specifications for large & small software projects Produce clean, efficient code based on the user requirements that meet the department’s coding standards. Develop both stand-alone as well as cloud-based applications Create integrations to external software components & 3rd party applications Strong organization, communication & critical think skills with the ability to think outside of the box Plan and implement unit, regression and user acceptance testing Create & maintain technical and end-user documentation Participate in code reviews, team training & team building Requirements of the Position Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of applicable work experience in the field Experience as an AWS DevOps engineer or similar role that was responsible creating, documenting and developing and maintaining AWS services like Docker, Lambda and/or Connect. Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows Experience with defining and setting development, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operations especially in Selenium and Jenkins. Must have experience developing code in at least 2 of the following: Java, React, .Net/C# Experience creating, documenting and maintaining API Integrations.
