Your new company Our client is an expanding engineering consultancy growing their services within water and environmental projects. Their expertise includes stormwater management, water quality improvement, and compliance with local and federal regulations. Your new role As a Junior to Mid-Level Environmental Engineer, you will focus on impactful projects in water resources or wastewater engineering. You will design and implement innovative solutions for water management, stormwater systems, or wastewater treatment. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with NYC DEP standards, and contributing to sustainable and efficient infrastructure development.
What you'll need to succeed - A degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in water resources, stormwater, or wastewater engineering.
- Strong knowledge of NYC DEP standards and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP).
- Experience with wastewater treatment systems and water management solutions is highly preferred.
- PE or FE certification, or eligibility to pursue certification.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, HEC-RAS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and a drive to make a difference.
