The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. NG-MIP offers transitioning service members valuable civilian work experience through an internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. It is open to all ranks and experience levels. Participants continue to receive military compensation and benefits, as they are not paid by Northrop Grumman. Responsibilities for this internship include: Participating in on-site individual internships in entry to mid-level roles supporting a 40-hour work week. Supporting goals, objectives, and outcomes aimed at transitioning service members into civilian roles. Engaging in professional development, leadership networking, and training focused on Northrop Grumman’s principles, history, and operations. DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Served at least 180 days on active duty Within 12 months of separation or retirement Receiving an honorable discharge Completed or attended a recent ethics brief Received written approval from Unit Commander prior to internship Additional details about the company culture, division, and specific internship role are provided, including responsibilities, qualifications, and salary ranges.
