The Client Accounting Lead will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable department, ensuring the accurate and timely collection of receivables, and managing the overall credit and collections strategies of the organization. This role involves collaboration with various departments to optimize cash flow and maintain strong customer relationships. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting and is responsible for managing a team of 10-12 people. This role is an integral part of the Katz Media Accounting leadership team. Responsibilities include developing and managing customer relationships, addressing Client AR & Billing escalations, communicating key AR & Billing statistics to Accounting and Sales leadership, managing team performance, onboarding and training, reviewing critical AR & Billing reports, partnering with Accounting leadership to drive results, improving collections efficiency, cash application and client billing, ensuring accuracy of finance master data, and managing customer contracts. Required qualities include outstanding people skills, continuous improvement mindset, excellent customer service and communication skills, strategic solution providing, ability to support and grow team members, and ability to engage with senior leadership. Required education and experience include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business-related field, 10 years of experience in accounts receivable or finance with 2-5+ years in leadership, 5 years of full A/R experience and customer management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, experience with Netsuite and cloud-based accounting software is a plus, and strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
