Magnolia Dermatology is a patient-centered practice delivering high-quality dermatologic care with compassion and efficiency. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clinical Administrative Medical Assistant to manage behind-the-scenes patient coordination and support provider workflows.

Position Overview:

This is a non-clinical medical assistant role focused on administrative duties rather than direct patient care. You’ll be responsible for managing patient communications, provider follow-ups, and scheduling surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, text, or email regarding medications, prior authorizations (PAs), lab results, and provider instructions
• Manage provider to-dos in our EMR (ezDerm) and ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures, including patient preparation and insurance verification
• Work with pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients to support medication authorizations and refills
• Track outstanding tasks and ensure patients receive complete and accurate information
• Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline communication and enhance patient care

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical administrative role (dermatology experience a plus)
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems (experience with ezDerm preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communication channels
• Knowledge of surgical scheduling, insurance coordination, or referrals is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday during regular clinic hours
• On-site position
